These crankcases can be used to fit both original and Polini cylinders.
With these crankcases it is no longer necessary to modify the crankshaft, as the intake diagram is more advanced than the original; however, if you have a Polini crankshaft it can still be fitted, as it will not compromise the engine's maximum power, but will improve power at low revs.
ignition: for the version with platinum-plated screws, set an advance of 2.2 mm before top dead center; maximum contact opening 0.6 mm. For the electronic ignition version, no special adjustment is required.
